Tire pressure monitoring
This is one of those things that really should be fitted by the factory as it affects the safety of the vehicle and for the small cost I sure that most people would op to have this product.
In November 2012, EU law came into force, requiring all new cars to be fitted with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) as standard.
Have a look at this very scary video of an RV that has a tire blow out
10% of fatalities and 45% of all road accidents are directly related to tire problems
One of the most common reasons tires fail is because they are under inflated. Tires that
were under inflated by 25% make up approximately 10% of all tire failure. Vehicles whose tires were under inflated by 25% or more were more than 3 times as likely to get in to an accident than a vehicle whose tire pressure was at the recommended level.
So if your RV has a TPMS installed you can see at a glance if your tire pressures are low, you can also see if the temperature is increasing which would indicate a inflation problem.
