Lazydays (or should it be Lazy ways)
Lazydays Tampa Florida absolutely terrible service
So we booked our Rv in at Lazydays in Tampa for a handful of small jobs that were required to be done during the period we were away, so that when we returned we would be good to go. Well I think you know what’s coming next. Yes of course, why would we presume that the work would be completed after all they only had 5 weeks.
So after constantly ringing to try and talk to the very unfriendly, unhelpful and completely unknowable person in charge of us to try and keep things moving we were very disappointed that only one of the twelve jobs on our list had actually been done. So two and a half weeks after arriving back in the US (7 1/2 weeks after booking it in). So we now have had to travel from the Miami side of Florida back over to the Tampa side and hang around another 2 days for this work to be finished, which should have been carried out weeks ago. How difficult can it be to change a rear light ?
Lazydays also expect us to pay to stay here if it runs into several days while they are working on our RV.
When I booked in the RV this morning I was greeted with 2 rude abrupt women who really should be employed by the prison service. The way they treated the clients was just unbelievable, and people just lined up to be insulted. When it came to my turn I told them that they should address people in a more friendly way as I found just shouting out NEXT was very unprofessional and quite frankly rude.
After getting past this initial rudeness I was informed that the arrogant person I had been dealing with was no longer in their employment. Surprise, suprise. So now we are back to square one and pretty fed up with the whole Lazydays experience.
And what adds insult to injury is that virtually every person you talk to here says the same thing, that they are bloody useless.
Buyer Beware
When you walk through the door of Lazydays you are instantly blown away by the totally over the top bullshit. They are clearly selling heaps of RV’s, travel trailer etc and I’m sure the buying experience is fine if you don’t choke on the BS.
But of all the people we have spoken to who have purchased here all say they wouldn’t come back for service work.
Lazydays is possibly the worst RV dealer experience we have had so far.
Thank you so much for your honest opinions and the frank manner in which you give them. Your criticisms of Entegra and RV parks is very much appreciated.
Hi Paul, thanks for your comment, I think it’s about time that someone was telling the truth about the RV industry.
Love the honest facts. So far I mainly seen the issues with Entegra and their attention to detail… in your experience how do other manufacturers measure up? I’ve been looking at Entegra and Newmar. We currently have a Gulfstream G7. No definite plans on replacing it yet. Doing research now for the future.
