Flights booked
After the news that Spartan believe that they have finally fixed my steering issue, I have booked a flight to come across for a week to actually test drive the Entegra and to see what the prospect is on the paint repairs. So I will be arriving in Phoenix on the 10th Aug (14 hour flight) for a test drive on the 12th Aug. I will be reporting back on the steering and paint progress. So watch this space.
Hello Glenn & Julia,
Thanks for the update. Maybe everything will be fine this time. I sent you a couple of emails…
Hi Russell
I’ll be there in a week so I’ll keep you posted, thanks for your interest
Glenn
Hello Glenn
I have been following your journey and have been looking forward to hear how things are going. Glad to see you are coming back to the state’s, an I can’t wait to hear how things are going on your Entegra . My wife and I are planning our retirement in a Rv. and it’s great to see how we need to plan it.
Hi Dwight
Planing is good but the whole RV life is fairly fluid so it’s good to make some hard and fast plans but keep it loose as things will change along the way. Some places you will like and want to stay longer and others you will want to leave the next day. Also if you buy an Entegra you will need to plan to spend at least 4 -6 months in the first year in a garage.
G
Hi Glenn
Well how did things go? Can’t wait to hear from you and what Spartin said and something about the paint.
Dwight
Hi Dwight
Well you’ll be pleased to hear that I think they have finally fixed it, it drove like a dream. New video available

The wife and I thank you for your posts. We are looking at what brand we should buy. We have taken Entegra off our list.
We wish you all the best!!
Reg
Do you know that despite the fact that we keep telling ourselves that we love our new RV, in the 11 months we have owned it, it has been in for repair for 7.5 months. So buying a different brand is probably a good move until Entegra start addressing the recurring issues they have during the manufacturing process.
Keep watching and let me know if their’s anything I can help you with
G
I’ll pray that everything works as it should. Really miss you both.
Charlie
Thanks Charlie
If it’s not right this time then i think we will give up and sell it.
We can’t wait to get back and start travelling again…
G
Hi Glenn,
Good luck for your test drive! I really hope Spartan got it right this time and you and Julia can finally start enjoying your Coach… In the meanwhile I ask myself, whether a simple Freightliner chassis isn´t the better choice… Less comfortable for sure but also easier to maintain and maybe more reliable… For the money you spent you should get a better service….
See you on the road!
Alex
Hi Alex
I’m sure that if the Spartan chassis worked the way it’s suppose to it would be fine, but I think that the thing that has pissed us off so much is how long it’s taken and would they be doing what they are doing if I didn’t have so many youtube followers? It just better be right this time.
Hopefully catch up for a beer somewhere on the road
G
Hi Glenn,
I believe your exactly right on the motivation of Spartan and Entegra, without these posts and followings… nothing would be done. You can imagine any owner that doesn’t have this public option … would be forgotten! Keep up the pressure and hope all ends well for you. Love your videos.

Don’t worry about keeping the pressure up, I’m like a dog with a bone !

Thank you for the good news………going to watch your4 new video now!!!!!
It’s good to start the day with some good news
Thanks for the update on the steering issues. Glad you could get the troops together for all interested parties. I hope you didn’t fall for the furtherest traveler rule about having to buy drinks. Leave that up to Lazy Days for the free plug.
lazy days were great and did actually credit a small invoice for the plug, so it’s a win win

Glenn and Julia : I can’t tell you how much my wife (an expat from Cambridgeshire, England) and I have enjoyed your humor and very informative videos. We found these while researching Entegra coaches. Annette and I are starting to dream/plan a similar “adventure” in a few years. Your videos have been an inspiration, especially the reminder in each that “you only live once!” If you are ever passing through or near by Raleigh, North Carolina, please don’t hesitate to email. Would love to meet you in person (FYI, I think we can redeem your experience in Myrtle Beach, SC with some unspoiled beach selections in NC…Outerbanks, Bald Head Island, etc). Safe travels and thanks again for sharing.
Hi Rich
We will be visiting N C as JULIA sister has just moved there, so we could catch up for a beer. I’ll let you know we we are over that way.
G
Glenn: That sounds like fun. Raleigh is home to many excellent craft breweries and has a “beer garden” with the Guinness Book record for the number of beer taps, 369. http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/406123-most-different-beer-brands-on-tap
Cheers!
Rich and Annette
Sorry for the late reply, my Mac died on me and I couldn’t log on Ahhhhhh. All fixed now.
Yes we are looking forward to exploring the area again, and when we are heading over that way I’ll look you up (probably be next year now)
that’s for watching our videos
