I guess it’s not hard to be the quietest riding best handling coach parked in the repair shop. Sorry to hear your troubles, what happened the last time it was in the shop for steering?

    • GRT says:

You are absolutely right, also providing the step isn’t shaking itself to bits and you don’t use the dashboard fan, then it’s a really quite coach.
If they offered me my money back, I’d take it in a heartbeat

Sorry to hear that you are having soo much problems with your new Entegra.
This maybe nothing, but I just read on RVTravel.com about Recalls for the steps on certain Entegra. You may won’t to checked that out.

We do have a problem with the step slide cover, it has rattled itself to death and now doesn’t open at all, it worked after I had changed the fuse but now has packed up all together.

We are looking at same coach thinking that they had better quality, but from watching your video does not look like Entegra is no better. We bought our new diesel pusher in 07 and it was one thing after another. It’s hard to believe that they are so expensive and yet such low quality. We sold our unit thinking it was the brand that was the issue. Also you buy a car for $30,000 and get a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty. You buy a $400,000 coach and maybe get 2 years with very limited milage. Also finding qualified repair shops is also no easy. Your experience is making us think twice!

We seem to be having more problems than most, but that said there is nothing here (at the Entegra factory) that they won’t do for you regarding after sales service. So if you can wait I’ll let you know the outcome after they have had our RV for 6 weeks. If it’s all good then I would recommend Entegra. If it’s still rubbish then you will need to look elsewhere. When we first picked the RV up from the dealership it drove beautifully so much so that we were amazed in the difference with our Fleetwood.

Look forward to hearing from you! Btw are you saying they have your RV for 6 weeks? Ours never went to plant our dealers took 100% care of all the issues (all 10 pages of snags). Where do you stay while RV in shop for that long? In your video you showed the water tank I was told that the bay’s are fully heated assuming the aqua-hot works, isn’t that the case? Thanks for your response.

We atually normally live in France, our plan is to travel for approx 3 months here in the US and then back to France for 2-6 weeks and then back here etc etc. When the RV is back at the factory we have to return to France as the RV is our home when in the US.The only upside to this whole sorry event is that we actually get free parking when we return to France. The wetly area is heated by warm air flowing from the main basement area (providing that is that you have turned on the basement thermostat)

Enjoy your trip back to France, been there many times the company I work for is bases in France. Send me an email when your back on the road.

It’s a fascinating story, and also somewhat depressing. Like probably thousands of others, the idea of a lottery win which would allow us to do what you have done is a dream, and like many others, a rv road trip was up there as part of that dream. The adventure you are on is brilliant, the scenery spectacular, and mostly friendly folks, the problems you have gone through has changed my dream, and put an RV coach trip way down the list, whilst the journey across America remains. It’s just how we would do it (first of all is the lottery win of course). Keep the video’s coming, and especially the ups and downs. Tell it as it is. A great watch. Thanks

I’m with everyone on this, sure I get that a few things would need the odd tweak, tightened etc. You are after all driving effectively a truck, but this issues are a little too much for the money spent…

Any chance of a subscribe button on this site/blog?

    cheers 🙂

Wow… I’m suppose to be picking up my new Anthem next week but I’m concerned about all of your maintenance issues. I was hoping the quality was more superior than what you have experienced. I would be “pissed” to have my sewer hose come loose because of poor connection at the factory.

    • GRT says:

I have been assured at the factory that this has now been addressed, just get the dealer to check with Entegra that it’s been done. Who are you collecting your RV from?

  8. David W. Anderson says:

Thanks for advice I will dig a little deeper before buying a class A. I have three in mine Tiffin, Thor Tuscany, Entegra . Cant wait to see your next video. Take care
