How to get more DI water from your CR Spotless machine

Convert your CR Spotless machine to be be more efficient and get more DI water from your DIC 20 or DIC 10 machines. We will show you how to convert your CR spotless machine into a more efficient more effective DI system. This video will show you step by step of how to carry out this simple conversion.

What is required to convert a CR Spotless Machine

You simply need to remove the internal cartridges from your CR Spotless machine and discard.

You’ll need to purchase more resin as this conversion without the inner cartridges will hold about a third more resin.  After you have filled both of the blue outer cartridges with resin to the top give each cartridge a good tap down on a solid surface and refill as necessary.

Then firmly push the feeder tubes into the resin until they are level with the top of the cartridge, You need to do this so that when you refit the cartridges later life will be very easy if you don’t do this it will be difficult to do.

With the tubes pushed firmly all of the way into the resin move them in a circular motion making the space larger. Then pull the tubes far enough out of the resin so that when you offer up the cartridges you can grip firmly and push the tubes into the housing. The trolly needs to be in the upright position to do this.

Refit the blue outer containers (without the cartridges) to the head unit and then screw the cartridge body back onto the housing with the feeder tubes inserted directly into the resin.

I bought the conversion kit few months back! My water was reading 104 ppm I took off tanks but my rein was still dark..my question is how does resin look when it’s no longer good? Color wise lighter?

Sorry for the really late reply, we haven’t been looking at the site for a while. The color of the resin has no bearing on the condition of the resin.
